![]() utilitarian meets pretty - labels Wednesday, March 11, 2009 ![]() this is not a tutorial.. it's too easy to be a tutorial.. it's more like a nifty tidbit. I love simplicity and utilitarian things.. yet, i also love a bit of prettiness (what girl doesn't?) these tags are great and can do more than most other labels. their holes are reinforced and they're very versatile.. what other labels can both top off a gift of banana bread as well as label your suitcase? these would be great for labeling your wedding favors. plus - they are insanely cheap. supplies: • labels • paper punch or kraft scissors • string (great for cleaning out the ribbon drawer - we love variety!) • stamp and ink pad or pen ![]() the craft punch above is from martha stewart's craft line. the stamp is from provo craft. it's an addictive gizmo with the alphabet that lets you customize the type. two very handy and worthwhile tools. ![]() this baby isn't only for cards.. it sure makes a pretty label. be sure to center the label, and don't push it all the way in or else your label may be too short. just experiment. ![]() tada!.. look at what a little prettiness can do. comments (5) ![]() 1 |
